Responsibilities Perform a wide range of nail services such as manicures, gel polish applications, acrylic and nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and artistry. Apply advanced techniques including nail art, color theory-based designs, and nail care treatments to meet client preferences. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and proper disinfection of tools and workstations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Upsell retail products and services such as nail care items or skincare treatments to enhance client results and increase sales. Manage appointment schedules efficiently while ensuring timely service delivery and maintaining a clean working environment. Qualifications Must hold a valid Los Angeles Full Cosmetology or Manicurist license as required to perform nail services Proven experience working as a professional nail artist in a salon or spa setting with a strong portfolio of work. Expertise in gel manicures, acrylic application, nail extensions, pedicures, and related beauty treatments. Knowledge of color theory for custom nail art designs and advanced manicure techniques. Familiarity with salon safety protocols including sanitation standards and disinfection procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Experience working with retail sales strategies such as upselling products or additional services.
