Duties Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic nail application, and nail extensions to meet client preferences. Follow strict salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable treatments, and upsell retail products. Maintain detailed records of services provided and client preferences for future appointments. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques such as dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and product innovations to enhance service offerings. Skills Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and various application methods including acrylics, gel nails, and nail extensions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Proficiency in sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards. Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails, esthetics, or cosmetology is highly preferred. Ability to perform pedicures, manicure treatments, eyelash extensions, hair styling or hair extensions is a plus but not required. Retail sales skills including upselling products like cuticle oils or hand creams to enhance client experience and salon revenue. Knowledge of esthetic laser treatment or body waxing techniques can be advantageous for expanding service offerings.
