Duties Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and pedicures with precision and care Apply color theory principles to recommend suitable shades and designs that complement each client's style and skin tone Conduct esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, and other advanced skin services as needed Maintain strict adherence to salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products or additional services Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies while following all disinfection procedures Stay current on industry trends such as nail art techniques, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, and other esthetic treatments to enhance service offerings Skills Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and salon safety protocols Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in manicure, pedicure, gel nails, acrylic nails, and nail extensions Excellent client communication skills to understand preferences and provide personalized recommendations Ability to perform advanced treatments such as dermabrasion or esthetic laser procedures when applicable Proficiency in retail sales techniques and upselling strategies to promote products like nail care items or skincare essentials Knowledge of sanitation practices including disinfection procedures for tools and workspaces Effective communication skills combined with a friendly attitude to foster positive client relationships Familiarity with additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling or barbering is a plus but not required Join us as a Nail Technician where your artistry meets exceptional service!
