Duties Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with precision and creativity. Apply advanced techniques such as nail extensions, gel polish application, and intricate nail designs based on client preferences. Maintain strict sanitation and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Offer expert advice on nail care products, retail sales, and upselling additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Deliver excellent customer service by listening carefully to client needs, communicating effectively, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Stay updated on current beauty trends related to color theory, nail art techniques, and overall aesthetics to provide innovative services. Assist with retail sales by recommending products that suit clients' individual needs while demonstrating strong retail math skills. Manage appointment scheduling efficiently while ensuring timely service delivery. Experience Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care procedures, sanitation protocols, and disinfection proceedures. Familiarity with retail sales techniques and upselling strategies to maximize client satisfaction and salon profitability. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Certification in Nail tech licensing is required; ongoing education in new techniques is a plus.
