Responsibilities Perform professional manicure and pedicure treatments, including gel manicures and nail care routines that meet client preferences. Apply nail extensions using acrylic or other techniques to enhance natural nails with precision and artistry. Conduct esthetic services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, and hair threading to provide comprehensive beauty solutions. Educate clients on nail health, color theory, and aftercare to promote ongoing nail care and maintenance. Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired look, offer recommendations, and upsell retail products like nail polishes or skincare items. Stay current with industry trends in nail art, gel application, and new techniques to continually elevate service quality. Experience Proven experience working as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Strong knowledge of nail extensions, acrylic application, gel manicures, and sanitation standards. Familiarity with color theory principles to assist clients in selecting complementary shades. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure customer satisfaction. Experience in retail sales of beauty products is a plus for upselling opportunities. Certification in cosmetology or esthetician licensing required where applicable; additional training in hair styling or barbering is advantageous.
