Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure a relaxing experience. Educate clients on proper nail care routines and recommend retail products to support ongoing nail health. Uphold all state licensing requirements and salon safety standards consistently throughout each service. Assist with retail sales by upselling products such as skincare items, nail polishes, or tools to enhance client experience and salon revenue. Experience Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with specialization in manicure and pedicure services. Proven experience working as a manicurist or nail technician within a professional salon or spa setting. Knowledge of color theory, gel manicures, acrylic nails, nail extensions, and advanced nail art techniques. Familiarity with sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols essential for maintaining a hygienic environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Experience in retail sales or upselling is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for promoting products is highly valued. Additional skills such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, or esthetic laser treatments are considered a plus but are not mandatory.
