In this role, you will bring clients' nail visions to life through expert application of manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail extensions. Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel manicures with precision and creativity Apply color theory principles to help clients choose the perfect shades and designs that complement their style Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience Educate clients on nail care routines and products to promote healthy nails and skin Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in nail art, techniques like dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments, and industry best practices Skills Extensive knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and salon safety protocols Proficiency in applying various nail enhancements including, gel nails, and other advanced techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients Experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on nails or esthetics preferred Familiarity with sanitation standards, disinfection procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment Ability to perform additional beauty services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling or hair threading is a plus Retail sales skills combined with retail math understanding to maximize product upselling opportunities Knowledge of cosmetology practices including barbering or esthetic laser treatments enhances versatility in service offerings Excellent communication skills for client consultation and team collaboration Join us as a Nail Technician where your artistry meets exceptional service!
