Duties Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures and gel nails with precision and care. Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Provide expert advice on nail care routines and products to promote healthy nails and skin. Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, or beauty enhancements as well as other spa treatments to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales. Engage in retail sales by educating clients on available products and promotions using retail math skills to maximize revenue opportunities. Build strong relationships through excellent communication skills, ensuring clients feel valued and understood during every visit. Stay updated on current trends and new techniques to continually elevate service quality. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that adheres to health regulations and salon standards. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology required. Proven experience performing professional nail services with a portfolio of diverse designs preferred. Familiarity with sanitation protocols and best practices for maintaining a hygienic environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and recommend appropriate treatments or products.
