Duties Perform a variety of nail services including gel manicures, acrylic nail applications, nail extensions, and intricate nail art using color theory principles. Conduct pedicures and manicure treatments that promote healthy nails and skin. Follow strict salon safety protocols, sanitation, and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide personalized recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, or beauty tools to enhance client experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of workstations and tools in accordance with salon sanitation standards. Assist with retail sales and promote additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments when appropriate. Skills Strong knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, and the latest trends in nail art. Proficiency in applying various nail enhancements including acrylics, gel manicures, and nail extensions. Experience working in the beauty industry with excellent customer service skills. Familiarity with salon safety protocols, disinfection procedures, and sanitation standards. Ability to communicate clearly with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice. Knowledge of additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, or skin treatments is a plus.
