• Part-time STRND Hair Studio is a boutique luxury salon experience based in West Hollywood.

We specialize in precision color and haircuts as well as extentions— serving a discerning clientele who expect nothing short of exceptional. At STRND, every detail matters — from the quality of the color using the industries to the experience a client has before they ever walk through the door. We are growing intentionally and are looking for someone who shares that standard. The Role We are seeking a polished, dependable, and proactive Administrative Salon Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of STRND Hair Studio. This is a part-time, in-salon position working Wednesday through Friday, approximately 4-5 hours per day. You will be the operational backbone behind the scenes — keeping the studio running smoothly, the clients feeling cared for, and the business moving forward. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a beauty or luxury service environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and genuinely enjoys creating an elevated client experience. What You'll Be Responsible For Client Experience & Booking Appointment calendar — booking new clients, confirming upcoming appointments, managing reschedules and cancellations with professionalism and warmth Respond to inquiries via phone, DM, email, and Google in a timely, on-brand manner Ensure every client interaction — whether digital or in-person — reflects the luxury standard of STRND Inventory & Ordering Conduct regular inventory counts for color, retail, and salon supplies Identify low-stock items and proactively place orders with vendors (including Davines) before shortages occur Track incoming orders, reconcile deliveries, and maintain an organized product system Monitor product usage trends to help reduce waste and optimize ordering Social Media Support Capture behind-the-scenes content, in-progress transformations, and client-approved final results during salon hours Assist in scheduling and posting content to Instagram and other platforms Engage with followers, respond to comments and DMs in alignment with the brand voice Assist in developing content ideas that showcase the studio's expertise and aesthetic What We're Looking For Prior experience in a salon, spa, medical spa, luxury retail, or high-end client-facing environment strongly preferred but not necessary Exceptional written and verbal communication — professional, warm, and on-brand at all times Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable or willing to learn scheduling/booking software (we use BLVD) Proficient with Instagram; experience with content capture or basic editing a bonus Self-motivated and proactive — you don't wait to be told what needs to be done Reliable, punctual, has car and takes genuine pride in the quality of your work A true appreciation for the beauty industry and luxury service environments Schedule Wednesday, Thursday & Friday Approximately 4-5 flexable hours per day Compensation Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
