In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. Your expertise in various massage techniques will be essential in addressing individual client needs and promoting their physical and mental well-being. Competitive 50% commission + tips structure. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and feedback. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices for pain management. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Skills Strong patient service skills to foster positive relationships with clients. Proficient in patient assessment to tailor treatments effectively. Expertise in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy techniques. Knowledge of pain management strategies to assist clients with specific issues. Understanding of physiology and anatomy to inform treatment approaches. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to the field of massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction and retention. Experience in occupational health is a plus, particularly for clients with work-related injuries. Previous experience in a med spa setting is desirable but not required.
