Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing appointments and providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our salon and enhancing the overall client experience. Duties Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures. Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations via phone and in-person. Handle transactions and maintain accurate handling procedures. Provide information about salon services, products, and promotions to clients. Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales. Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring that all stock is replenished as needed. Communicate effectively with stylists regarding client needs and preferences. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock levels. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering calls and responding to inquiries. Requirements Previous experience in a customer service or retail sales environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members. Familiarity with register procedures and basic retail math concepts is required. Ability to upsell services and products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing appointments and inventory. A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to providing outstanding customer service is crucial for success in this role.
