We're looking for an outgoing, dependable and motivated Front Desk Sales & Guest Experience Associate to join our team at The Lash Lounge! This is not just a receptionist position. Our front desk team is the first and last impression our guests have of the salon and plays an important role in both the guest experience and the growth of our business. You'll help create an amazing experience for every guest while converting new leads, booking appointments, educating guests on our services and memberships, and helping our salons reach their sales goals. The Position This position is approximately 25-32 hours per week and works between our two Kansas City-area salons: The Lash Lounge Overland Park — Corbin Park The Lash Lounge Prairie Village — Corinth Square Your schedule and location may vary depending on the needs of each salon, so applicants must be comfortable working at both locations . What You'll Do Warmly greet guests and create an exceptional salon experience from check-in to check-out Answer phone calls, texts and guest inquiries professionally and enthusiastically Convert incoming leads and inquiries into booked appointments Educate guests about our services and recommend the best options for their needs Introduce guests to our membership program and confidently explain its benefits Work toward individual and salon membership and promotional sales goals Schedule, reschedule and manage appointments accurately Check guests out and assist with rebooking future appointments Recommend and sell retail products when appropriate Maintain accurate guest information and appointment details Support our lash stylists and management team throughout the day Help maintain a clean, polished and welcoming front desk and salon environment Follow salon policies while handling guest questions or concerns with professionalism Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who is: Friendly, confident and comfortable talking to people Naturally sales-minded and motivated by goals Professional and polished Reliable and punctual Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable handling multiple tasks at once Able to communicate confidently by phone, text and in person Comfortable initiating conversations about memberships, products and promotions A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed Available for a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends Previous customer service, hospitality, retail or sales experience is strongly preferred. Salon or beauty-industry experience is a plus, but not required. Experience with Mindbody is also a plus.
