Tailor Maid SF is looking for a talented wedding gown seamstress to join our team! We are looking for a skilled seamstress or seamster to work in our Wedding Gown Tailoring Shop where we specialize in the alterations of wedding gowns and high-end garments only. The ideal sewer is hardworking, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding quality alterations. Responsibilities Perform and complete alterations on designer wedding gowns that include lace, beading and couture details Must be able to work with high end fabrics such as silk, organza, tulle, beading, lace and crinoline Meet or exceed productivity time line Must complete alterations on 2 dresses or more per day Qualifications Previous experience in alterations and tailoring of wedding gowns 15+ years sewing experience Understanding of safe and proper use of all equipment in the shop Non-english speakers ok!
