Fabricate and sew product according to specifications Operate sewing machines and other equipment in a sewing department setting Follow patterns and instructions from spec sheets or lead Be able to work with thin to thick leather, vinyl, thick nylon fabric Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sewer, Tailor, or similar role 3 - 5 years experience minimum Proficiency in operating sewing machines and other sewing equipment Tailoring skills preferred Knowledge of upholstery and garment construction techniques and materials (ex. leather, vinyl, linen, nylon, etc.) Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience constructing tote and garment bags a plus Must be able to use single needle machines:
