Shay Kawaii, a women's fashion brand based in Downtown Miami, is looking for an experienced seamstress/tailor to join our team immediately. We create a variety of clothing ranging from dresses and skirts to stretch garments, and we're looking for someone with strong technical sewing skills who can work efficiently in a hands-on studio environment.

Responsibilities:

Work with a range of materials including stretch fabrics, spandex, cotton, denim, and specialty fabrics Sew a variety of garments including dresses, bikinis, pants, mini shorts, patches, appliqués, and zippers Cut fabric accurately from provided patterns Sew stretchy/knit fabrics with precision Maintain consistent quality and reliability to meet production needs

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience on industrial sewing machines Experience with both Straight Stitch industrial machine and Merrow / Serger industrial machine Ability to sew garments from start to finish, not just individual steps Reliable and punctual Legally authorized to work in the
