Tailor Overview:

WE DO NOT TAKE APPLICATIONS IN PERSON.

This is a part time job. Potentially could change to a full time position after a few months if wanted by the employee. We provide uniforms for Police, Fire, EMT and Public Safety personnel. We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for operating our commercial sewing machines to alter our customer's uniforms. This will include, tapering and hemming of pants, sewing buttons, shortening sleeves, fitting coats, sewing badges on shirts, coats, vests, hats, and other items. The hours are

PART TIME

• we are flexible on setting the regular schedule that is agreed to during the application process.

But, the part-time schedule must be within our Monday-Friday open hours AND include Friday. So, you could decide your schedule is M/W/F or maybe W/TH/FR or some combination that we agree together to in advance. Commercial Sewing Machine experience is required.

Job:

• Perform garment alterations and repairs according to customer specifications
• Sew garments using various techniques and equipment, including sewing machines
• Ensure accurate measurements and fittings for each customer

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with sewing with

COMMERCIAL

sewing machines

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Proficiency in using

COMMERCIAL

sewing machines and other tailoring tools

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Pay:

From $24.00 per hour
