Role Summary We're looking for someone who loves sewing/quilting and wants to share that passion with others. As a Fabric manager, you'll be responsible for managing stock and purchase of fabrics and notions, setting up in store displays, keeping up to date on the latest notions and fabrics. You'll be responsible for delegation of tasks to part time fabric associates. You'll need to be able to help customers with quilting math, and be able to help customers pick fabrics for their own projects. This is a stable, long-term role with room to grow, designed for someone who enjoys being part of a creative community. Key Responsibilities Build relationships with customers, Assist with product questions and provide basic sewing-technique guidance Process transactions and financing through our POS and Synchrony systems Check in sewing machines for repair and manage off-counter sales Maintain current knowledge of current trends in quilting fabric and notions Keep the fabric displays organized, welcoming, and visually appealing Qualifications A genuine interest in sewing and quilting. Experience with sewing machines, fabric, and quilting is required.
