Our boutique operates on a private appointment model, with a focus on craftsmanship, precision, and a refined client experience. Every garment is approached with intention, and the atelier is central to how we serve our clients. About the Role We are seeking an experienced individual with advanced expertise in tailoring and alterations, including bridal alterations. This role is suited for a craftsperson who takes pride in precision, understands the structure and nuance of designer garments, and values the importance of fit as part of the overall client experience. You will be responsible for the execution and finish of garments across bridal, designer fashion, and bespoke work. You will work directly with clients during fittings, collaborate with our styling team, and contribute to maintaining the high standards that define the Ellie Belle atelier. Responsibilities Deliver precise, high-quality tailoring and alterations on designer and bridal garments Execute advanced bridal alterations, including structural adjustments, bodice work, and gown refinement Work confidently with delicate and technical fabrics, including silk, lace, mikado, beading, and couture-level construction Conduct fittings with clients, providing clear, thoughtful guidance on fit and alterations Support bespoke and custom tailoring projects across bridal, occasionwear, and menswear Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and operational standards of the atelier Partake in private shopping, and bridal styling to help clients determine fit Collaborate with the Ellie Belle team to ensure a seamless client experience Uphold the finishing standard that defines the Ellie Belle atelier Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of professional tailoring or alterations experience Strong experience in alterations and working with structured gowns Deep understanding of garment construction, pattern work, and finishing techniques Experience working with designer garments and couture-level fabrics Ability to deliver precise, refined work within an appointment-driven environment Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Proficiency with industrial sewing equipment and hand-finishing techniques What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Flexible scheduling Competitive compensation based on experience A refined working environment with designer garments and high-level craftsmanship Long-term growth within a house focused on quality, service, and brand development To Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief note about your experience.
