Seamstress About the Role We are looking for an experienced Upholstery / Seamstress professional to join a creative manufacturing and fabrication team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience sewing fabrics, upholstery, and fabricating custom textile pieces . The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work with different fabrics and materials to produce high-quality finished products. Key Responsibilities Sew and assemble a variety of fabrics and textile materials Perform upholstery work on furniture, fixtures, displays, and custom pieces Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment Measure, cut, and prepare fabric for sewing and upholstery projects Follow patterns, measurements, drawings, and work instructions Stitch seams, hems, edges, and other fabric components Install and secure fabric over various surfaces and structures Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and appearance Make adjustments and repairs as needed Work with different types of fabrics and materials Maintain sewing machines, tools, and work areas Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized workspace Work efficiently to meet production deadlines Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous seamstress, sewing, or upholstery experience required Experience with industrial sewing machines preferred Ability to sew and work with various fabrics Upholstery experience strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to accurately measure and follow patterns or specifications Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and dependable Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment IND2
