Henri's Cloud Nine is a premier destination for bridal, prom, pageant, and special occasion fashion. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and can help ensure every customer feels confident and beautiful in a garment that fits them perfectly. Responsibilities Perform professional alterations on bridal gowns, prom dresses, pageant gowns, and other formalwear Complete alterations including hemming, taking garments in or letting them out, adjusting straps, bust and bodice alterations, zipper replacements, bustle creation, and other garment modifications Work with delicate and specialty fabrics, including lace, beading, tulle, satin, chiffon, and other formalwear materials Conduct or assist with customer fittings and determine necessary alterations Pin and mark garments accurately during fittings Maintain the original design, construction, and appearance of garments whenever possible Complete alterations accurately and within required deadlines Communicate with customers and members of the Henri's team regarding fittings, alteration needs, and completion timelines Maintain a clean, organized, and professional alterations workspace Provide exceptional customer service throughout the alterations and fitting process Qualifications Previous professional sewing or alterations experience required Formalwear, bridal, or evening gown alteration experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of garment construction and tailoring techniques Experience working with delicate fabrics, lace, beading, and structured garments preferred Ability to operate professional and/or industrial sewing equipment Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently while also collaborating with our sales and management teams Friendly, professional, and comfortable working directly with customers during fittings Why Join Henri's Cloud Nine?
