We're looking for a skilled seamstress or wig technician to join our team. Role We're seeking someone experienced in wig cap construction, repair, and alteration — including hand-tying/ventilating, wefting, and cap customization for medical-grade hairpieces. This role works directly with clients' custom pieces, so precision and care matter deeply. Responsibilities ⁠ ⁠Alter and fit wig caps to individual client head measurements ⁠ ⁠Hand-tie or ventilate hair into lace, monofilament, or skin-base caps ⁠ ⁠Repair damaged wefts, knots, and cap structures ⁠ ⁠Collaborate with stylists and colorists on finished pieces ⁠ ⁠Maintain quality standards for medical-grade cranial prostheses Qualifications ⁠ ⁠Experience with hand-tying/ventilating techniques (theatrical wig work, cosmetology training, or professional hairpiece construction all count) ⁠ ⁠Familiarity with different cap constructions: lace front, monofilament, skin base ⁠ ⁠Strong attention to detail and steady hand work ⁠ ⁠Comfort working with sensitive clients (many navigating hair loss from cancer treatment) ⁠ ⁠Prior wig/hairpiece experience preferred; garment sewing background alone is not sufficient
