Seamstress or Seamster/Embroiderer World Class Solutions, Inc. - 3.6 Newport News, VA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract Up to $14 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Embroidery Stitching Basic stitching technique Cleaning Quality control experience within textile industry Full Job Description Hiring - Seamstress/Seamster and/or Embroiderer We're looking for someone with a diverse background and expertise in alterations to help with professional uniforms and custom embroidery. Now Accepting Applications for Part Time Seamstress, Seamster, and/or Embroiderer This person will be responsible for completing all alteration fittings and sewing services necessary to meet our customers' needs. Additionally, will have experience in embroidery and/or willing to learn. Our most successful people are self-motivated individuals with outgoing personalities, and excellent technical sewing and fitting skills. They have expertise on how to tailor a garment to ensure the best fit possible, properly align and gauge professional uniform patchwork, as well as operate different types of embroidery machines; ( willing to train ).
Responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary customer garment fittings
- Perform all types of alterations and patchwork on professional uniforms, custom orders, and learn how to use different types of embroidery machines
- Press, steam, and spot clean garments/merchandise as necessary
- Follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments to verify pristine condition before final delivery to customer
- Schedule alterations appointments in person or by telephone as needed
- Fill out alteration's tickets accurately and completely, ensuring correct fees and pricing
- Resolve alterations customer service issues or complaints in a timely fashion

- Incredible embroidery equipment Willing to hire someone with both skills or 2 with each one… (Alterations and/or Embroidery)
- Will train embroiderer.
