In this vital role, you will be responsible for repairing, and customizing clothing items with precision and care. Whether working on new designs or altering existing pieces, your skills will help ensure every product meets our high standards of quality and excellence. This position offers an engaging environment for those passionate about sewing and garment creation, with opportunities to develop your expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Duties Operate sewing machines efficiently to fixing and alter garments according to the fitting. Repair and alter clothing pieces to meet customer or production requirements with accuracy Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring seams are secure and measurements are precise Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the studio. Follow safety protocols when handling sewing equipment and materials to prevent accidents Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship Skills Strong knowledge of garment alterations techniques and sewing methods. Proficiency in operating various types of sewing machines with confidence and precision Experience in sewing, including hemming, tapering, taking-in sides and back, and finishing techniques for a variety of garments as suits, bridesmaids and wedding dresses. Background in manufacturing environments or alterations shops settings is preferred for understanding workflow dynamics.
