Calexico West/East Land Port of Entry Job Posting Yukon Fire Protection Services(YFPS) is pleased to announce that we have an available Junior Engineer position at the Calexico West/East Land Port of Entry. Junior Engineer This is a Swing Shift position. Swing work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm; and Friday is from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am . The pay rate for this position is $49.16 per hour, plus an additional 4% swing shift differential, for a total of $51.13 per the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Under supervision, cleans, maintains, and repairs building fixtures and equipment, including locks, windows, doors, screens, venetian blinds, gutters, drains, shelving, and kitchen utensils; replaces light bulbs and fuses; replaces filters; makes simple furniture, cabinet, asphalt tile, and linoleum repairs, assists in maintaining and repairing electrical lines and fixtures; assists in lubricating, regulating, and repairing sewage, water, cooling and heating systems lines and equipment,; assists in repairing roofs; assists in repairing plaster and concrete; assists with painting buildings and equipment; occasionally operates automotive equipment and hauls material; requisitions supplies; makes reports on work done.
