Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Upholsterer and Sewer to join our team (Family) in crafting, repairing, and upholstering furniture. The ideal candidate will have experience with sewing machines and upholstery tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials.Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, sew, and assemble fabric pieces for furniture upholstery
- Install padding, webbing, and fabric coverings on frames
- Repair or replace fabric, springs, and padding on existing furniture
- Measure and mark fabric and padding materials accurately
- Operate industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Experience in furniture upholstery and sewing
- Ability to read measurements and follow design specifications
- Familiarity with upholstery tools and sewing machines
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
