Responsibilities Perform upholstery work, including reupholstering vehicle interiors using various techniques. Utilize sewing skills to assemble and repair fabric and leather materials with precision. Handle a variety of fabric materials, leather, and other upholstery supplies to meet client specifications. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, sew, install, and finish upholstery projects. Collaborate directly with clients to understand their needs, provide estimates, and develop design ideas that align with their vision. Lead the automotive department by maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and customer service. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Stay current with industry trends, materials, and techniques to continually improve service quality. Requirements 10 years of proven experience in automotive upholstery, including sewing, reupholstering, and upholstery techniques. Strong knowledge of fabric materials, leather handling, and related supplies. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for upholstery work. Excellent communication skills for client interactions, including estimating costs and discussing design options. Creative mindset with a positive attitude aligned with our shop's high-quality standards. Ability to lead projects independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
