Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in upholstery and assembling various upholstery materials. The job description entails but not limited to building or rebuilding furniture such as sofas, recliners and chairs by replacing damaged frames and padding with fabrics. This role is essential for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship and attention to detail in our upholstery projects.
Duties:
Utilize power tools, hand tools, and other specialized equipment to disassemble and reassemble upholstery materials on restored furniture. Conduct thorough inspections of upholstery projects to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Collaborate with other team members to complete upholstery projects efficiently and effectively. Continuously improve upholstery skills and techniques to stay up-to-date with industry best practices. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Upholsterer with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools for upholstery fabrication and assembly. Experience in furniture restoration, with a focus on upholstery. Excellent attention to detail.- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Commitment to quality and a passion for creating high-quality upholstery pieces.
