COLLISION REPAIR
) located just 15-minutes south of downtown St. Louis, MO. We are excited to have a full-time opening available for an experienced (MUSTHAVE 3+ YEARS MINIMUM
) auto upholstery technician. Pay is based off of experience.- All candidates MUST have the following experiences:
- Knowledge of all aspects of automotive upholstery and applications that require a wide variety of techniques, methods, and materials. This can include upholstery restoration, replacement, and repair from start to finish. Experience with interiors, custom interiors, design, headliners, convertible tops, seats, carpet, trim, door panels, repairing springs, etc.
- Use of hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, measuring, cutting, patterning, hand stitching, sketching, and more.
- Able to envision and exceed our client's expectations for custom car interiors. This requires a level of detail that is extremely high. It takes someone who is self-motivated, hard working, and has passion/takes pride in their work.
- Must be able to bid jobs, maintain accurate records of all materials used, keep a well organized work space that's clean, and work in accordance with the shops SOP's/Handbook guidelines.
- May assist with training of lesser-experienced employees who take interest in automotive upholstery.
- Any secondary skill set in the automotive field would be excellent but not required.

- Must be willing to pass a drug and criminal background check. Physical Requirements
- Be able to carry and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Routine physical motion of arms and hands with an emphasis on grip strength.
- May require both standing and sitting for long periods of time depending on the work being done. Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and sewing machines to create and repair automotive upholstery components.
- Conduct thorough auto restoration tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
- Assemble upholstery pieces accurately, adhering to manufacturing standards.
- Employ power tools safely and efficiently during the upholstery process.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. What we offer?
- A state of the art 10,000+ square foot shop.
- Fully air conditioned and heated.
- Flexible start time: Between 6:30 a.m.
- 7 a.m.
- Four 10-hour work days Monday-Thursday
- Three day weekends (OFF Friday-Sunday)
- Health insurance, PTO, sick days, after the first 6-month probation period is over.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$24.00- $45.
