Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Paint Prep Technician for a manufacturing client in the Anaconda area. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in quality workmanship. As a Paint Prep Technician, you will play a key role in preparing chassis, commercial products, and fabricated truck beds for the painting process by performing sanding, grinding, masking, and other prep work. Key Responsibilities Remove vehicle hardware and components prior to painting. Sand, grind, tape, and mask chassis, commercial products, and fabricated beds. Follow production schedules and work closely with supervisors to meet deadlines. Read and follow written instructions and technical specifications. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures. Develop an understanding of production processes and prioritize tasks efficiently. Attend required trainings, including safety and security awareness programs. Report to work on time and maintain reliable attendance. Qualifications Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions. Flexible and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks. Good verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver's license required. Ability to pass a physical examination and respirator fit test. Ability to pass a 4 panel drug screen Preferred Qualifications Basic automotive knowledge or experience. Familiarity with both metric and standard (English) measurements. Working Environment Manufacturing setting with exposure to: Loud noise levels Changing temperatures Moving machinery and equipment Regular use of: Forklifts Power, pneumatic, and hand tools Various shop equipment Physical Requirements Lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
