Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Upholstery Technician specializing in auto restoration and manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring, repairing, and customizing vehicle upholstery to meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help bring new life to vehicles, ensuring they look and feel exceptional. Whether working on classic restorations or modern vehicle interiors, your skills will contribute directly to delivering outstanding results for our clients. Responsibilities Use hand tools, power tools, sewing machines, and other equipment to cut, sew, assemble, and install automotive upholstery components. Repair or replace damaged upholstery materials, including fabric, leather, vinyl, and foam padding. Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure a perfect fit within vehicle interiors. Follow detailed instructions and specifications to restore or customize vehicle seats, door panels, headliners, and trunk linings. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the assembly process of vehicle interior components during manufacturing or restoration projects. Skills Proficiency with hand tools such as scissors, staplers, seam rippers, and screwdrivers. Experience operating sewing machines for automotive upholstery applications. Strong sewing skills with an eye for precision and quality craftsmanship. Background in manufacturing processes related to auto restoration or interior assembly. Knowledge of auto restoration techniques and materials used in vehicle upholstery. Ability to work with power tools safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
