DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate equipment as such to assure all work is performed without harm to equipment and people.
• Read work orders, production schedules and drawings to determine delivery requirements, quality specifications and requirements to complete the job.
• Study drawings and blueprints to determine scope of work and the best methods to complete the job.
• Keep Drawings & Travelers with parts at all times
• Deburr parts as needed.
• Assist the Shipping and Receiving Department in receiving and storing material
• Help move material around shop as needed
• Assist with maintenance or any in-house shop projects
• Assist with shop cleanliness and organization
• Assist any departments that may need another operator for production
• Any other duties assigned

SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGOUND

• Ability to read blueprints
• Good problem solving skills
• Knowledge of shop machines and procedures
