Aircraft Upholstery Shop Manager Norfolk Aircraft Interiors Norfolk, VA Job Details Full-time $20 - $28 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Measuring tapes (upholstery tools) Cleaning (upholstery maintenance) High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Organizational skills Power tools Inventory replenishment Clean workspace maintenance Ordering supplies Hand tools Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team and manage the shop areas throughout our facility here at the Norfolk International Airport. We are a small but very specialized and skilled outfit in our industry. Norfolk Aircraft Interiors replaces leather and composite materials in private airplanes including Cirrus and Beechcraft-at very high quality and safety standards. Minimum Qualification Requirements High school diploma Able to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Able to lift and carry minimum 40 pounds. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Able to multi-task on a consistent basis. A Team Player- communicate and work well with other Team Members. Familiar and proficient with hand tools and small power tools. Able to pass a background check. Job References verifying minimum qualifications experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain organization of all shop areas including equipment, tools, materials, and documents. Review jobs in progress and upcoming projects for material requirements Coordinate with Team Members and order materials Maintain certain required materials in stock Maintain cleanliness of all shop and office spaces Assist technicians with fabricating and installing materials.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
