Company Overview Ravenwood Veterinary Clinic is a dedicated small animal practice that also provides care for exotics, including small mammals, birds, and reptiles. Our team of experienced veterinarians and support staff are passionate about delivering compassionate, comprehensive veterinary care to our diverse animal clients.
HELP WANTED
Veterinary Technician Assistant Entry-Level Position | No Experience Required, but it is preferred| Training Provided We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Technician Assistant to join our veterinary team! Previous veterinary or animal-care experience is preferred, but not required. We are happy to train the right person from the ground up in a supportive work environment. If you enjoy working with animals, helping people, staying busy, and learning new skills, we encourage you to apply.
Ideal experience would include:
Rooming patients and assisting with appointments Obtaining and recording vital signs Safe, confident, and compassionate animal handling Accurately processing paperwork and patient information Strong attention to detail Experience learning and using computer programs No veterinary experience? That's okay! We welcome entry-level applicants who are eager to learn. Our team is willing to provide hands-on training and help you develop the skills needed to succeed in the position. We're looking for someone who: Is dependable and willing to learn Is comfortable working with both animals and people Can follow instructions and established procedures Pays close attention to details Communicates well and works as part of a team Can learn the computer programs and systems we use throughout the day Understands that veterinary medicine can be fast-paced and is willing to jump in and help where needed Brings a positive, professional attitude to work This is a great opportunity for someone interested in getting started in veterinary medicine or for a candidate with previous experience who is looking for a supportive team environment.
