We support your growth professionally and offer regular CE opportunities Duties are as follows but not limited to: Provides compassionate care and attention to all patients Assists veterinary technicians and doctors with animal handling utilizing proper restraint techniques Maintains a clean kennel space throughout a patient's stay, promptly addressing any soiling and thoroughly disinfecting after discharge Responsible for monitoring patients post-operatively until safely extubated, ensuring vital signs remain stable throughout recovery Observes and monitor patients, reporting any changes in animal behavior, or condition to the Doctors or technicians immediately Ensures the hospital remains clean and presentable by properly disinfecting all areas, including the lobby, bathrooms, exam room, treatment areas, and kennel wards Keeps supplies stocked and maintains an organized space, ensuring all materials are easily accessible for efficient patient care Assists with maintaining inventory levels reporting to Hospital Manager when stock is running low Processes incoming supply shipments and organizes storage areas Launders bedding, towels, surgery laundry, and other materials used throughout the hospital, following proper disinfecting protocols Disinfects surgical instruments, endotracheal tubes, and clipper blades ensuring proper cleanliness at all times Appropriately wraps surgical instruments, ensuring all required items are included and accurately labeled Operates autoclave sterilizing medical supplies as needed Regularly monitors expiration dates on all in house medications, vaccines, and sterilized packs/pouches

We are a fast-paced facility performing 20-25 surgeries per day including but not limited to S/N's, dentals, mass removals, cystotomy, amputations, cherry eye, etc. You'll need the ability to move quickly and stay focused.
