Tree of Life Exotic Pet Medical Center is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and understands that attention to detail and consistency are essential when caring for our exotic patients while supporting our clients. Adaptable and comfortable switching between assisting with the patients in the technician department and helping our clients in the customer service department. Currently, we are seeking to fill a part-time position Tuesday-Friday 1p-6p, and every other Saturday 9-12.

The successful candidate will be:

Takes initiative to keep kennels, workspaces, supplies, and shared areas clean and orderly.

Dependable, punctual, responsible, and able to follow through on assigned tasks.

Communicates well, supports coworkers, and understands that excellent patient care requires everyone to work together.

Friendly and professional:

Comfortable interacting with clients and able to provide excellent customer service, even during busy or stressful situations.

Willing to learn:

Open to learning about exotic animal species, specialized husbandry, veterinary procedures, and clinic protocols.

Comfortable working with animals:
