Position Summary:
We are seeking a confident and experienced Skilled Veterinary Assistant to play a key role in patient care and clinical support. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a skilled team in a collaborative hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Place and manage IV catheters Perform venipuncture (jugular, cephalic, saphenous) Confident patient restraining Take radiographs Perform ultrasound-guided cystocentesis Room patients and assist with client education Create treatment estimates Administer vaccines Monitor anesthesia and assist during procedures
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced and confident in advanced clinical support tasks Strong communication and client-education skills Team-oriented with a commitment to excellence in patient care
Pay:
$21-$24/hr depending on experience
