Handle animals with care, including dog handling and general animal handling to reduce stress and ensure proper restraint. Assist with laboratory procedures such as sample processing, specimen labeling, and basic testing under supervision. Follow veterinary terminology guidelines to communicate effectively with team members about patient care and procedures. Support pet care activities such as feeding, grooming, and monitoring animal behavior for signs of distress or illness. Qualifications Prior kennel experience or animal husbandry background preferred; experience working in veterinary clinics is highly valued. Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and pet care best practices is essential. Experience with animal restraint techniques, medication administration, and laboratory procedures is a plus. Strong understanding of veterinary terminology and basic veterinary assistant responsibilities.
