Job Description
At LOVE Animal Hospital, our goal is to provide compassionate veterinary care to Huntington Beach and surrounding communities by veterinary professionals who love what they do and love the patients they care for as if they were their own. Our brand new hospital is a general practice and urgent care. LOVE Animal Hospital was created to make the client experience seamless, patient care the priority, and is committed to providing the most innovative and modern veterinary medicine. Our new hospital is hiring for qualified veterinary professionals who share our vision of a new, compassion focused approach to veterinary medicine. We are seeking doctors assistants with at least 1-3 years of recent veterinary experience. Doctor's assistants work closely with the veterinarians and with clients as well. Creating and presenting estimates, performing call backs, giving financial updates, starting medical records, generating medication labels, filling prescriptions, discharge instructions, etc. Responsibilities Serve the critical role of being the liaison between doctors, clients, and patients Organize/ track patient diagnostics Coordinate hospitalized patient treatment Prepare patient discharge reports/ in-hospital updates Communicate with clients, referring DVMs; and pharmacies as needed regarding appointments, medical concerns, patient updates, referrals, and prescriptions
