Our new hospital is hiring for qualified veterinary professionals who share our vision of a new, compassion focused approach to veterinary medicine. We are seeking doctors assistants with at least 1-3 years of recent veterinary experience. Doctor's assistants work closely with the veterinarians and with clients as well. Creating and presenting estimates, performing call backs, giving financial updates, starting medical records, generating medication labels, filling prescriptions, discharge instructions, etc. Responsibilities Serve the critical role of being the liaison between doctors, clients, and patients Organize/ track patient diagnostics Coordinate hospitalized patient treatment Prepare patient discharge reports/ in-hospital updates Communicate with clients, referring DVMs; and pharmacies as needed regarding appointments, medical concerns, patient updates, referrals, and prescriptions

Requirements:

Minimum 1 - 3 years of veterinary experience Basic knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology Ability to communicate calmly, clearly, and effectively with both staff and clients Strong verbal and written skills Strong attention to detail and follow through Excellent customer service skills and a desire to provide outstanding service to clients Ability to handle high stress situations Knowledge of EzyVet and/or Smart Flow are a PLUS We are open 7 days/week 5am-11pm, therefore you must be available to work some holidays.
