Position:

Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians in handling and restraining pets during examinations and procedures. Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalysis. Administer medications and treatments under the direction of the veterinarian. Prepare and sanitize examination rooms and medical equipment. Provide exceptional customer service and educate pet owners on basic care and preventative measures. Maintain accurate medical records and assist with clerical duties as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Strong passion for working with animals and providing compassionate care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
