Job Description
Job description We are a AHHA-accredited busy 2-doctor practice in Livermore looking to add a experienced Veterinary Assistant/RVT to our medical team. The position is for approximately 21-37 hours per week and includes working weekends. Our hospital is fast paced but with a friendly and fun-loving staff, we have a great family atmosphere, and have awesome clientele. Veterinary assistants/RVT's are an essential part of our team's daily success! Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, beginning of day prep, assisting the Doctors & RVTs with patients and treatments, giving wonderful customer service to clients, and most importantly administering excellent care to our patients. Please read carefully the following job description and experience requirements. You must be articulate, personable, detail oriented, effective at multitasking, accurate, organized, computer literate, must possess a strong work ethic, and able to follow and prioritize directions given by multiple personnel at the same time. Minimum 1 years of Veterinary experience required. We use Windows based software programs You must be able to lift 40 lbs.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

): Exam Room Duties•showing clients into room, keeping rooms clean, & filling prescriptions Running In-House Laboratory as well as prepping outside lab work Surgery•prepping for, anesthetic monitoring, & recovery Digital Radiography IV catheter placement Phlebotomy and Cystocentesis Administering IV, IM, SQ, and oral medicationsPay:
