Our 4-doctor team works out of a full-service hospital, supported by an ambulatory truck, a boarding facility, and a modest on-site equine unit. Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our Animal Care Team. This role supports our veterinarians and technicians in the daily care of patients, hospital cleanliness, and client communication. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow within the veterinary field. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a desire to build on their current experience and grow their skill set in the veterinary field.

Preferred Experience:

Veterinary experience: 1 year (preferred) Veterinary assistant/technician assistant experience: 1 year (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with animal restraint, sample collection, and patient handling Support technicians and doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures Perform kennel cleaning, laundry, general hospital sanitation, and stocking Monitor and document patient recovery and alert team to changes in condition Assist with patient feeding, walking, and daily care Prepare exam rooms and maintain clean, organized workspaces Provide compassionate support to both patients and clients

Compensation:

Pay range: Starting at $17.00 per hour-Compensation commensurate with experience and skill level.
