Veterinary Assistant Rancho West Animal Hospital Rancho Cucamonga, CA Job Details Full-time From $19 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Employee discount Flexible schedule Retirement plan Qualifications Veterinary assistant experience Full Job Description Rancho West Animal Hospital is looking for a self motivated, upbeat Veterinary Technician and/or Assistant to join our team of dedicated health care providers! Experience is required. The ideal candidates enjoys working with the animals as well as people and are able to pay attention to detail while emphasizing customer service. Candidate should have familiarity with the following duties: Obtain and record patient histories. Assist doctors with physical examinations. Speaking with Clients, going over treatment plan and estimates. Knowledge in monitoring general anesthesia, including working with various monitoring equipment. Knowledge in placing IV catheters. Knowledge of administration of IV, IM and SQ injections Ability for logical, independent problem solving, and attention to detail and process. Knowledge in proper restraint and handling techniques. Can perform routine lab work and diagnostics. Dispensing medications. Knowledge of surgery instrumentation. Avimark experience a plus but not required. Assist in front office duties as needed.

Preferred experience:
Experience in Veterinary Hospital for 1-2 year Minimum.
