  • Join our veterinary team as a Veterinary Technician and contribute to the well-being of animals in our care. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for animal health to assist our veterinarians in providing top-notch care.
  • Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures
  • Handle and restrain animals during treatments
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and treatment areas
  • Provide basic animal care including feeding, walking, and grooming
  • Perform laboratory tests such as urinalysis and blood counts
  • Take digital radiographs
  • Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian
  • Perform blood draws, cystocentesis and place IV catheters
  • Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Educate clients on pet care and medication administration
  • Dental cleanings if experienced (a plus)
  • Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proficiency in veterinary terminology and procedures
  • Knowledge of animal physiology and husbandry
  • Previous experience in animal handling or veterinary settings preferred
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
