The ideal candidate will support veterinarians in providing exceptional animal care, assist with medical procedures, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our patients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about animal health and welfare to develop their skills in a dynamic clinical setting. Duties Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety during examinations and procedures Prepare animals for surgery or diagnostic tests, including animal catheterization and aseptic techniques Support veterinary staff with laboratory procedures, sample collection, and processing Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, treatment areas, and equipment in accordance with veterinary standards Assist with pet grooming, pet care, and general animal husbandry to promote well-being Handle dog training and dog handling tasks to facilitate smooth clinic operations Operate X-ray equipment under supervision to assist in diagnostic imaging Maintain detailed records of animal treatments, procedures, and patient history using veterinary terminology Support veterinary critical care activities as needed, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications Skill Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and pet care best practices Experience with animal restraint, dog handling, and animal husbandry Ability to perform laboratory tasks related to veterinary diagnostics Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols Understanding of dental terminology relevant to veterinary dentistry Experience with X-ray operation and positioning Strong animal handling skills across various species including dogs and cats Ability to communicate effectively with team members and pet owners in a professional manner This position is ideal for individuals committed to animal health who are eager to expand their veterinary knowledge while supporting a caring environment.
