This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in animal handling, clinical procedures, and veterinary operations while working alongside passionate professionals. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with daily clinical tasks, including animal restraint, medication administration, and sample collection. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, ensuring comfort and safety for both animals and staff. Prepare examination rooms, surgical areas, and diagnostic equipment to maintain a clean and sterile environment following aseptic techniques. Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and maintaining accurate patient records. Assist with laboratory procedures including sample processing, basic testing, and record keeping to support diagnostic efforts. Provide compassionate pet care by observing animal behavior, assisting with pet care routines, and supporting owner education on animal health needs.
