Care about animals and the humans attached to them Define teamwork better than saying "per my last email" Love learning and working in an environment focused on constant improvement Crack a joke when the kitten vaccine appointment turns into a sick visit for a gang of lethally-armed scaredy-(almost feral) cats and a "quick nail trim" for a 45 pound pug Happily and effortlessly explain preventive medicine for the fifth time to the client's husband's great aunt who thinks indoor pets don't need vaccines and just tuned in mid-appointment Sincerely believes we can improve vet med instead of just doom-scrolling about it Some days we are efficient and organized. Some days are a sitcom starring Murphy and his obnoxious law. That's vet med. But at Happy's Vet, we genuinely believe this field can be incrementally better each and every day. We are better than burnout, drama, and survival mode.
