Job Description

Alma Vet Connection is an independently owned small animal practice seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Assistant to join our team. This role is designed for someone confident in clinical skills, comfortable supporting surgery and anesthesia, and committed to high standards of patient care and client communication. We practice both conventional and integrative medicine, including acupuncture, laser therapy, and ozone therapy. We are owned by a Fear Free Certified veterinarian and prioritize low-stress handling and thoughtful, individualized care. Our core values guide our team: Growth

Responsibilities Obtain thorough patient histories and accurate vital signs Assist with exams, dentistry, and surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia and oversee patient recovery Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture Administer SQ, IM, and IV medications (based on credentials) Perform in-house diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology, SNAP tests) Maintain complete and accurate medical records Prepare and explain treatment plans and discharge instructions Support Veterinary Assistants and help maintain hospital flow Uphold high standards for cleanliness and equipment maintenance Qualifications 2-3+ years of veterinary hospital experience Strong technical skills and confident patient handling Ability to work independently and manage workflow Professional, calm, and detail-oriented Strong client communication skills For Veterinary Technician applicants:
LVT / CVT / RVT
