Job Description :

The Veterinary Assistant is a key member of the team supporting and assisting the veterinarians and ensuring the safety of pets, clients and other associates, and the continuity of quality veterinary care.

Duties:

Assisting veterinarians in exam rooms Client communication Obtaining patient histories Animal care and restraint Keeping the clinic clean and disinfected Medication administration

Requirements:

Excellent attention to detail Work ethic Compassion Communication skills Must be a team player Be clean cut and professional Customer service oriented.

Applicants must:

have reliable transportation, and must be able to work mornings/afternoons, evenings and weekends. be able to lift 40lbs, get down on the floor to restrain dogs. know basic math, be familiar with Microsoft office and basic computer skills.'
