Job Description:
The Veterinary Assistant is a key member of the team supporting and assisting the veterinarians and ensuring the safety of pets, clients and other associates, and the continuity of quality veterinary care.
Duties:
assisting veterinarians in exam rooms, client communication, obtaining patient histories, animal care and restraint keeping the clinic clean and disinfected and medication administration.
Requirements:
Excellent attention to detail, work ethic, compassion and communication skills required. Must be a team player, be clean cut and professional, and also be customer service oriented. Applicants must have reliable transportation, and must be able to work mornings/afternoons, evenings and weekends. be able to lift 40lbs, get down on the floor to restrain dogs. know basic math, be familiar with Microsoft office and basic computer skills.

$12.00 - $17.00 per hour
